Extraordinary repertoire performed in

Anne Frank's Tree

March 20, 7:30pm

First Presbyterian Church

This extraordinary program features the Florida premiere of Anne Frank’s Tree by American composer Victoria Bond.

Narrator for the work will be Booker High School senior Alexa Scharf. Stage director for Anne Frank's Tree is Tamara Solum.

Violinist George Maxman will be the featured soloist for Mendelssohn's beloved Violin Concerto. It is ranked among the top violin concertos alongside masterpieces by Mozart, Beethoven, and Brahms. It's known for its lyrical melodies, virtuosic passages, and a through-composed form, making it a favorite among both performers and audiences.

The program opens with Erich Korngold's witty Suite from Much Ado About Nothing. Korngold composed the work in 1920 for a theater production in Berlin directed by Max Reinhardt.

The performance will be presented at the First Presbyterian Church, 2050 Oak Street in Sarasota. Get your tickets today and join the performers for a delightful post-concert reception.
