Workforce Housing Needs Annexation into Water and Sewer District
Last year, the community voted to increase Resort Tax collections by 1% to fund the expansion of the water and sewer treatment plant. That vote also included the dedication of 500 SFEs to future workforce developments. RiverView will use approximately 100 of these dedicated SFEs.

On June 22, the Big Sky County Water and Sewer board completed its first of two readings of an ordinance to annex the RiverView property into the district. The board voted to approve the ordinance with the condition that the electorate receives educational information about the project and a survey regarding annexation.
RiverView: a Community Collaboration
Without annexation, BSCHT cannot continue the RiverView project, resulting in the loss of 100 homes that Big Sky desperately needs.

Block Party Celebrates Final Owners Moving-In
After three years of construction, contractors finished MeadowView, and the last of the buyers moved into their new homes in June of 2021.

To celebrate the sale and completion of all 52 condominiums, the MeadowView HOA hosted a block party on June 25.
In a community with scarce available land, the willingness of Brian Wheeler, Jerry Scott, and Al Malinowski to sell their land to build community homes is significant.
