Retaining Female Talent in the Workforce

Does your organizational culture demonstrate a commitment to attracting, developing, and retaining high-performing female talent? Despite research that states over 75% of U.S. CEOs think addressing gender gaps and focused female leadership development is needed, organizational culture and practices are not changing at a fast enough rate to shift women's perceptions regarding career advancement opportunities.  These and many other factors contribute to retaining female talent in the workforce.
Building on research started twenty years ago, WLH engaged in a comprehensive literature review and survey to analyze the implications of culture and practice gaps on the retention of female talent in organizations. WLH presented these findings at the annual Healthcare Businesswomen's Association ("HBA") 2017 conference and won special recognition.  These findings, combined with additional research were the foundation for this whitepaper, Retaining Female Talent in the Workforce.
Our newly released whitepaper  has resulted in great enthusiasm and a renewed interest in how to reinvent the workplace where women in leadership positions are fairly compensated, treated without gender bias, and valued for their work and financial contributions to the organization.

Retaining Female Talent In the Workforce presents:
  • A summary of key factors on Retaining Talent and Developing Women
  • Organizational dynamics, cultural factors, and best practices used to help increase the retention of top female talent
  • Specific recommendations for creating a culture that supports gender parity, transparency, and top talent retention
