Ellen A. The Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers (ADDP) is extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Ellen Attaliades as its President and CEO effective May 21, 2018. ADDP is a major trade association represent ing 129 community-based providers across the state that serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorders, and brain injuries.
 
Ellen joins ADDP from The Edinburg Center - a non-profit community-based service provider located in Bedford, Massachusetts. She started working there in the early 1980's and was promoted to her most recent role of Chief Executive Officer in 1991. S he began her career in human services at The Fernald Center as a direct service professional.
 
Ellen is a strong advocate and has many years of experience representing the interests of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and brain injuries to state agency partners, the Massachusetts legislature, other trade associations and advocacy groups. She has served with distinction on both the Executive Committees and the Boards of ADDP and the Association of Behavioral Healthcare (ABH). In both of these capacities, she has helped shape Board policies and practices and has contributed to Association positions on regulations and legislation. Ellen is well regarded for her effective interactions with state officials to address state policy issues / needs, state initiatives and operational practices with the goal of promoting quality services to the individuals that we mutually serve.
 
Most recently, Ellen has served on the Provider Consumer and Advisory Council (PCAC) and The Collaborative, the entity which coordinates advocacy regarding rate setting and other cross-Association regulations and laws.
 
Ellen is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton where she received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and holds a Master's degree in Psychology (Applied Behavior Analysis) from Northeastern University.
