Are you an authorized user of Rochester RHIO ? Do you use the query portal to search for patient information? Or, do you receive RHIO patient alerts?

By March 31, 2019, Rochester RHIO will begin including specially protected substance use and behavioral health care data (SAMHSA, Part 2) in its health information exchange. With patient consent, authorized users and medical professionals will be able to view this data immediately in a patient’s record enabling better patient care. Learn more...

CEO Jill Eisenstein Featured in Rochester's Democrat and Chronicle

I n February, Rochester RHIO CEO Jill Eisenstein was featured as a guest essayist in a Sunday edition of Rochester's newspaper the Democrat and Chronicle . The essay was titled, "A way to bring clarity to end-of-life choices."

In this essay, Jill shares her very personal story of her husband's illness and her experience using the MOLST (Medical Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment) form to help inform medical decisions as the end-of-life approaches. Read the article .
We're Asking for Your Help to Complete the SHIN-NY Customer Satisfaction and Usage Survey!

NORC at the University of Chicago, an independent non-profit research organization, is administering a web survey designed to assess user experiences with health information exchange services offered by Rochester RHIO. The results of this statewide survey will be used to improve health information exchange services provided by New York's eight Qualified Entities and the Statewide Health Information Network of New York (SHIN-NY).
