Bishop Hougland hires Willa Williams to serve on diocesan staff as office administrator.
Dear Friends,

I am pleased to announce that I have hired Willa Williams to serve as our new Administrative Assistant on the diocesan staff.
Willa is a student at Grand Rapids Community College and Grand Valley State University studying for a Bachelors in Business Administration. She has several years of experience in administration and project management. Originally from Marquette, Willa has been connected with the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Michigan for several years.

Willa and her husband, Evan, live in Wyoming with their dog, Frank, and enjoy going on walks and hikes. Willa also enjoys crafting and art, such as weaving and drawing.

The Office Administrator supports the daily operations of the diocesan office, including administrative responsibilities for the bishop's calendar and internal communications, as well as support for the regional canon missioners, and other project coordination.

Willa will begin her part-time position on Wednesday, October 2nd and will be based out of Diocesan House in Wyoming. Her office hours will be Tuesday-Thursday. She may be reached at or by calling the office at 616-319-2006.

Please join me in warmly welcoming Willa to our office.

Your Brother in Christ,
