Announcement C-21-09 Reinstating and Extensions of Child Care Certification Regulation Suspensions Due to Act 73 and Act 14
The Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) Bureaus of Early Learning Policy and Professional Development, and Bureau of Certification have released the Announcement C-21-09 Updated March 31, 2022 Reinstating and Extensions of Child Care Certification Regulation Suspensions Due to Act 73 and Act 14.

In September 2021, Governor Wolf signed Act 73 into law, which extended many of the Department of Human Services’ (DHS) temporary regulatory suspensions through March 31, 2022, in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Yesterday, Governor Wolf signed Act 14 into law, which further extends a number of regulatory suspensions, some that are “related to federal exemptions granted under the federal public health emergency declaration.”
