We are excited to announce important performance evaluation changes for 2023-24! These changes align with the DPS Strategic Roadmap strategy to “Establish a mindset of continuous improvement by fostering a culture of feedback, reflection through coaching and growth through intentional development.”
Classified: Reimagined was thoughtfully designed and developed in collaboration with DPS teams and stakeholders. It replaces the 2022-23 Classified Evaluation and the Core Competencies Evaluation (CCE) along with any other annual performance evaluation that was being utilized for Classified and CCE eligible team members.
2. All central office team members will now utilize the LIFT Performance Framework. For alignment, central office team members who have been evaluated on the CCE will move to LIFT starting July 1, 2023. The CCE will no longer be utilized for any employee groups.
3. We are re-establishing (as applicable with bargaining agreement requirements) the addition of formal Beginning-of-Year and Mid-Year conversations. By doing this, team members will be set up for success and will receive more frequent feedback; managers will be able to more effectively support team members in meeting expectations and goals. All regular (not temporary) employees who are 0.5 FTE or greater in a work assignment continue to be required to receive an End-of-Year evaluation.
