Tourism Destination Resilience Program

The Philippines is embarking on efforts to keep ecotourism sites unspoiled and restored to pristine conditions. The country is a tropical paradise for nature lovers with its lush forests, crystal clear beaches, and rich marine ecosystems.

PATA is proud to have launched the Tourism Destination Resilience Program - an online and in-market training program with ten modules designed for industry stakeholders at both the national and subnational level to train on the critical elements that define destination resiliency. We've successfully piloted the program in December in the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Vice-Chair of NY PATA, Catherine Heald said, “Some of the finest white sand beaches in the world (Amanpulo!) and my favorite rice terraces, the spectacular Banaue Rice Terraces” are located in the Philippines. Together, let’s rediscover these destinations. Know more about these destinations that put sustainable tourism on spotlight: https://cnb.cx/3lJbEQD
