Hot Dog Fridays

We need volunteers on Fridays to serve hot dogs! Can you commit to one Friday a month to work in the kitchen from 10am-2pm? Talk to Dayton, Winfry, or Donna Duncan for more info. We also need desserts every week!

Please pray for Mary Van Rheenen, field personnel alongside her husband Keith Holmes, who serves as CBF field associate. They serve as resource coordinators for Romany and those working with Romany throughout Europe. Mary and Keith use Christian media resources in major Romany languages and educational resources.

In Mary’s devotion below, she talks about how the Bible has been shared in many different languages so that all may receive God’s Word!

This Sunday you’ll notice two new tables placed on both sides at the front of the sanctuary. These tables will serve as prayer stations, a place for you to connect with God. As you light a candle, you can offer a prayer of celebration, grief, fear, uncertainty, or whatever is on your heart at the moment. You don’t need to wait for an invitation; these stations are available to you before worship, during worship, and after worship.

There will be a called church conference on Sunday, August 16th during worship to elect the new slate of deacons. We will be voting to elect the following: Brian Arrowood, Mandy Ashley, Chuck Broadway, and Jamie Redhing.
