We are celebrating the 7th Sunday of Easter on May 16th at 5:00 p.m. The presider is Father Michael Nicosia with Co-Pastor Dcn Rosean Amaral assisting.
Lectors are Jim Berry and Matt Chavez. Bill Smith will provide prayerful music.

Upcoming Outdoor Service - Next Sunday
Mark your Calendar - May 23
For our first outdoor mass at **11:00 am **
Please mark your calendars for our first outdoor Mass on the east side of Trinity Lutheran Church. This mass will be available to attend in person on the lawn, from your car or via Zoom - which ever one you are most comfortable with.

The Hospitality Ministry Invites You to Stay
If you can stay afterwards, you are invited to bring a sack lunch and drink to enjoy after Mass. It should be a beautiful day. ( But in case of inclement weather, an email will go out the night before to advise everyone.)
 
Protocol
Masks are mandatory and social distancing observed. We will enjoy live music with Bill Smith. Though congressional singing may be restricted, we all can hum with enthusiasm! The grass will be marked with a 10 foot square for each family/individual. Bathrooms are available.
 
So please join us! Bring a mask, a chair (chairs will be provided for those who cannot carry one in) and a sack lunch if you wish for after Mass.

June 6 - 5:00 pm Father Teri will preside at Mass in the sanctuary and the service will be open to all friends and members. (Up to 50) It will also be broadcasted live via Zoom.

June 13 - 5:00 pm Father Michael Nicosia will preside at Mass in the sanctuary and will be broadcasted live via Zoom

RMRC Announcement - With Great Joy...

.... the Rocky Mountain Region of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion (ECC) announces that we have called Mother Kae Madden as our first Bishop.  

A formal affirmation by the entire ECC will occur at the ECC Holy Synod in July. She will be consecrated locally at a later date. Blessings to our Bishop-Elect Kae Madden and our Region in building our church future together.

Call for Volunteers to Share Their Time and Talent

As we return to in person services while continuing our commitment to reach out to those who may not be able to attend in person, we are needing volunteers to help in the following areas.

Liturgical Assistance - Prepare for Sunday services by setting the altar, baking bread and/or washing of altar linens.

Technologist - learn and assist with Zoom and audio-visual for in-person services.

Liturgy Planners - Assist with planning and creating the Sunday worship services.

Long-term Financial Planning - A subcommittee of the Leadership Council is being formed to address long-term financial goals.

'We need you! Where are you being called to serve?'
Communication Assistant - Assist with any of the daily and weekly communication via Constant Contact, periodic posting to social media Facebook, Twitter, and managing the Mary of Magdala website.

Lectors & Eucharistic ministers- to be a Sunday reader and/or support Sunday communion.

And not to mention musicians are always welcome to join or anyone interested in serving on the Leadership Council.

Opportunities in Service
Family Housing Network - Needed support for hosting a family May 23rd to June 6th.

We have been so touched by the wonderful response we’ve gotten from our community members who will be serving our homeless families during our rotation, from May 23rd to June 6th. We will be helping at Christ United Methodist Church, as before the Pandemic: all Covid protocols will be in place and the families will be vaccinated. 

A huge thank you to all who have already volunteered! We still have a few positions needing volunteers.

Overnight hosts (8pm - 8am)
  • One more overnight host for Thurs June 3
Evening Hosts (6-8pm)
  • One evening host for Mon May 31
  • Two evening hosts for Fri June 4

ISAAC Presents - On May 23rd at 2pm

We are delighted to bring you a program on the migration of youth and families from Central America. We will be joined by leaders of AMMPARO -- a holistic, whole church commitment by the ELCA, to accompany migrant children today and in the future. You do *not* need to register for this event in advance.
