The Hospitality Ministry Invites You to Stay
If you can stay afterwards, you are invited to bring a sack lunch and drink to enjoy after Mass. It should be a beautiful day. ( But in case of inclement weather, an email will go out the night before to advise everyone.)
Masks are mandatory and social distancing observed. We will enjoy live music with Bill Smith. Though congressional singing may be restricted, we all can hum with enthusiasm! The grass will be marked with a 10 foot square for each family/individual. Bathrooms are available.
So please join us! Bring a mask, a chair (chairs will be provided for those who cannot carry one in) and a sack lunch if you wish for after Mass.

Opportunities in Service
Family Housing Network - Needed support for hosting a family May 23rd to June 6th.

We have been so touched by the wonderful response we’ve gotten from our community members who will be serving our homeless families during our rotation, from May 23rd to June 6th. We will be helping at Christ United Methodist Church, as before the Pandemic: all Covid protocols will be in place and the families will be vaccinated.

A huge thank you to all who have already volunteered! We still have a few positions needing volunteers.

Overnight hosts (8pm - 8am)
  • One more overnight host for Thurs June 3
Evening Hosts (6-8pm)
  • One evening host for Mon May 31

“As interfaith people of conscience, we draw on the teachings of our faiths
to work in solidarity for human dignity and immigration justice,
co-creating communities of welcome, recognition, healing and accompaniment.”
