Thanksgiving Dinner

     November 23 is the date for our Thanksgiving Dinner. Sign up sheets are on the table in the Narthex. Please indicate how many will be coming with you for Dinner. Everyone is welcome.

 The church will supply the turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing and gravy. Please bring a salad, vegetable or dessert to share.

This is also the Sunday we will be giving checks to the agencies we support. Please join us for this event.

Moving-On Boxes

The Moving-on Box ladies met recently to pack 8 boxes for the agencies we work with. It is a blessing to do this ministry, but it empties the shelves very quickly. We are very low on the following items, so if anyone can donate any of the following items, it would really boost our budget to cover other needs. Our most recent needs are:

--toilet paper,

--laundry soap,

--bar soap,

--dishtowels, &

--hand towels.

In addition, monetary donations are also always appreciated. Thank you for your support!

Neighborhood Market Dec 6

The Market opens December 6. Set-up begins 7am. Doors open to the public 8am.

The Missions Committee at First Congregational Church 4600 Hamilton Blvd. is opening up the upper level of their building to the public for a rummage sale. Help support this good cause! Money from table rental goes to various non-profits in the area.

Registration is limited to 30 tables at $10/table. Participants are responsible for set-up/tear down and making change for their transactions. All profits from sales are yours to keep.

You can register and pay for your table by contacting the office at 712-239-3385 during church office hours: Mon-Fri 12p-4p. First come, first served. No refunds will be issued upon payment. Same day registration accepted depending on availability.

Note: NOT open to multi level marketing businesses (pampered chef,etc.). Handmade goods, food are welcome.
