Today's announcements:
-We are moving forward with an online May Crowning on Thursday, May 7th. The 8th grade girls have voted for Theresa Varga to crown HCA's statue of Mary. Mary Carroll was voted as her peers to assist Theresa with the crowning.

-The Microsoft Store in Tysons Corner is offering free online STEM classes next week. The topic is code your own video game. A link to register is in the E-blast.

-Our spring online book sale begins Monday, May 4th. See more
information below.

-Noble Crusaders will be presented live during Friday morning Mass. I will also be recognizing student birthdays. Since I'll be involved with the live Mass, I will not be posing recorded morning announcements tomorrow.

-After a week of hard work, students will enjoy a long weekend. Monday, May 4 will be a professional development day for faculty and staff.

-Mother's Day is approaching quickly. Keep in mind that shipping on your favorite websites may take a little longer than usual to ship items.

-The deadline for ordering yearbooks has been extended to May 30th. The link to order is in the E-blast.
Spring Book Fair Begins Monday
Holy Cross Academy is excited to announce our online spring book fair through Bookworm Central! Book fair dates are May 4th-May 15th. Summer reading lists for each grade have been included in the fair offerings, making this a perfect opportunity to purchase your child's summer reading and benefit our school!

We will publish our specific school link on the morning of May 4th when it officially activates, Holy Cross Academy summer reading lists will be shared in each grade's Library Google Classroom and posted on the Library portion of HCA's distance learning page. Free Virtual STEM Classes from the Microsoft Store
We post all our public facing virtual workshops every week on  www.microsoft.com/tysonscorner , which you are welcome to share with teachers and families if you would like (there is no cost associated with our classes). Our next coding workshop sessions are Monday and Tuesday next week, which parents can register for with these links:
