at Woodbridge Bowling (346 Main Street, Woodbridge NJ).

A fun night out with your community as we bowl the night away. To be preceded (at Woodbridge Bowling) by the beautiful ritual of Havdallah to separate Shabbat from the rest of the week. RSVP TO Rabbi Saks if interested.

Mordy's Brunch Hour -- Encourage BELONGING

($10 for members; $20 for non-members)

Come to the first of four brunch hours where we learn from great teachers on the four pillars of our community: Belonging, Tradition, Faith, and Shabbat.

9:30am -- Tallis and Tefillin service

Feel the power of the ancient tradition of "laying" (wearing) tefillin. Men and women are both encouraged to participate.

10:30 -- Brunch & Presentation on Israeli Innovation in Techonology

Over a tasty brunch, we will explore the world of

Israeli innovation in the field of technology, learning about

what makes Israel such a technological powerhouse.

Approximately 11:30 -- Israeli Dance

Brunch will be followed by a communal experience of one of Israel's most original and innovative "technologies": Israeli dance.

Northern Jewish Middlesex Communal Day of Study: Our Favorite Jewish Things (No admission fee)

at Neve Shalom, 250 Grove Avenue, Metuchen

Find out some of the things that motivate our Jewish teachers here in Middlesex County to teach and promote Judaism while having an opportunity to "taste" some of our community's favorite Jewish things.

Rabbi Saks will be teaching a lesson entitled: "More than Just Words on a Scroll: Perspectives and Teachings from a Life-Long Torah Reader." See flyer for a full description of the program.

This Day of Study is co-sponsored by Congregation Beth Mordecai, the JCC of Middlesex County, Congregation Neve Shalom, and Temple Emanu-El.
