Seeing with the eyes of Appreciation and Resilience "When it seems your back is against the wall, turn around and open the window. Opportunities abound all around us. We must be willing to see them. The Greatest Gift
It’s the busy season of gifting: shopping in person, online; waiting for packages to arrive; wrapping, shipping, and cooking. Oh my! No wonder people feel stressed in the season which supposedly represents faith, hope, joy and love. Perhaps the most significant metaphor of the birth of Jesus, was that he was the greatest gift - the gift from a “father” - the gift that he passed on by living his life in the way that he did. And we? Are we not the greatest gift to those we love? How can you be a gift to others, this Christmas? This year?

Hi SUUF-ers!
I love theatre. I love GOING to the theatre. I Love DISCUSSING theatre. However, I HATE driving into Seattle to go to the 5th Ave. Musical Theatre.
QUESTION: Are there any folks out there who would be interested in going to the two Sondheim musicals that the 5th Ave Theatre will be presenting in 2023? They're doing "Sweeney Todd" and "Into The Woods." If someone is interested in driving, can we put together a little group and go together? I'm more than happy to pay for parking and gas if I don't have to drive. I'd even be happy to pay for the driver's ticket to the show. My eyes are rubbish at night and I'm dangerous on the road! 😁.

Mark your calendars for next Saturday, December 3rd - we’ll meet in front of MV Planned Parenthood for our next sign-waving event at 11a.m., rain or shine. Bring your signs, your friends and your families (and your dogs, we love your dogs…and Jake, we love your music!). There will be extra signs available in English and Spanish.
Please note: I will be forwarding our group email list to Mount Baker Planned Parenthood so they can keep all of us in the loop about events in the wider area and provide resources for those who are interested in becoming more involved with Planned Parenthood as volunteers. If you have questions, please email me.
Looking forward to seeing everyone next Saturday!
In this together,
Debbie Grant (she/her/hers)
