This concert is a fundraiser to SUUF!

Hello friends and members of SUUF:

Because many of you have indicated a desire to attend the concert virtually, or to avoid purchasing your tickets online for various reasons, we have decided to UPDATE the arrangements for the RUPERT WATES concert/fundraiser on Sept. 25.

1) We WILL be accepting cash at the door if you find the online purchasing experience too confusing. PLEASE still make a reservation, tho! We have limited seating, so we need to know who to expect! Contact Kathy Roche-Zujko ([email protected]) and let her know how many seats you would like to reserve, and you will be placed on the list at the door.

2) We WILL be sharing this concert via ZOOM for those who are unable to attend in person. You will still have to purchase a ticket at Brown Paper Tickets, and then send Kathy a copy of your receipt. She will in turn send you the special ZOOM link to allow you to tune in.

The tickets can be purchased at:

Thank you everyone! This will be a terrific concert!

Rupert Wates was born in London and studied at Oxford University and has been a full-time songwriter and performer since the late 1990s. His music is an eclectic mix of acoustic, melodic art/ folk, with flavors of jazz, vaudeville and cabaret. He has released eleven solo CDs which have received outstanding reviews in the international online press and tracks from them have been played on radio all over the world. Audiences everywhere respond to Wates' brand of melodic and haunting songs that ring true. Sample his tasty music here: https://youtu.be/Y0U1_uOBqe0
COVID POLICY: Covid vaxxed only, please. The audience is expected to wear masks during the concert. We will have windows/doors open for sufficient air flow. Thank you!

On First Saturdays, we will continue our monthly rallies in support of reproductive rights for all.

How great to see such a strong group of folks out rallying in support of reproductive rights this past weekend. Please mark your calendars for our next rally, which would normally be the first Saturday in October - but we are moving it to SATURDAY, OCT. 8TH to join in solidarity with the Women’s March which has rallies scheduled across the country that day. Please plan to meet AT NOON at the Skagit County Courthouse and bring as many friends and family members as you can. Bring your homemade signs and I will have extra available. Please watch your in box for additional information as we get closer to the 10/8. Masks are optional, but encouraged. And, as promised, here’s the link to the ‘ROE, ROE, ROE YOUR VOTE’ t-shirt I was sporting on Saturday: https://onerockin.com/product/roe-roe-roe-your-vote-shirt/
