Dear Friends,

Crayon Collection was born 15 years ago in Pacific Palisades. In the past few months, our community has been destroyed. The loss of our beloved town still feels impossible to accept.

Today, driving through the village takes everything in us to keep from crying from remembering all the beauty that once was and wondering if it will ever be the same again. With a barrage of signs for debris removal, smoke remediation, lawyers for hire, and police stationed at all intersections we felt it was time for the children of our special community to have a place as well.

We are proud to share The Banners of Hope Project, which includes all Pacific Palisades schools and students that have been impacted by the fire.

This is an effort of togetherness.

Students at each participating school are currently working on creating one unique artwork representing their school and selecting 3 words that describes the future of the Palisades. These works will appear on banners installed on all 59 light poles throughout the Pacific Palisades area all summer long representing our community, our resilience, and our strength.

Crayon Collection will also replenish each schools art supply closet for the 2025-26 school year.We believe this effort will bring smiles and joy to the hearts of our community members who are navigating unimaginable loss.
