Special Grant “History of 1014 Fifth Avenue, NY

In cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Academy New York is offering a grant for research on the history of 1014 Fifth Avenue, New York.  Fellowships are awarded for specific research in New York, Montana, and Germany. Apply by July 1st, 2018.

Postdoctoral Researchers International Mobility Experience (P.R.I.M.E.)

This funding program addresses postdocs of all nationalities, who see their future career in Germany, but who first wish to spend some time researching abroad. Funding is provided for 18 months, of which 12 have to be spent abroad and 6 at a German university.  Apply by August 31st, 2018.

Johns Hopkins SAIS and DAAD Announcement
Kristina Spohr Inaugural Helmut Schmidt Professor

Professor Kristina Spohr will join the school for the 2018/19 academic year as the inaugural Helmut Schmidt Professor in the Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs. This new professorship is part of a multi-year program to enhance research on transatlantic relations at Johns Hopkins SAIS funded by DAAD with generous support by the German Federal Foreign Office.

Goethe Goes Global - Master Scholarships
Goethe University is now offering scholarships for 75 Master’s programs. Applicants must hold an excellent Bachelor's degree from a university outside of Germany. Awardees are provided with a monthly stipend of 1,000 EUR and other benefits to help them develop their career. Find more info here:
