EyesOn Design at Ford House 2024:

DESIGN MASTERS: A LIFETIME OF DESIGN ACHIEVEMENT

For the past 36 years, the EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement Award (LDAA) has been given to the world's most noteworthy automobile design leaders, as selected by previous winners of the award. This year, the 200+ vehicles shown at EyesOn Design at Ford House will all have been designed or influenced by previous winners of the prestigious EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement award.

EyesOn Design chief judge Glen Durmisevich says the annual Father's Day car show is unique worldwide in that it is the only car show where vehicles are invited based on how well they meet the design criteria of that year's show. The 2024 event will take that design-centric approach a step further.

Curated by EyesOn Design's Vehicle Selection Committee (VSC), the show will be comprised nearly exclusively of significant production and limited production vehicles, and one-off concept cars from the group of legendary LDAA designers, according to VSC chair, Glenn Abbott. The stunning 1935 SS Jaguar Airline Coupe above, which will be shown in the Classic Era category at EyesOn Design, comes from the Hendrix family of Chesterfield, MO. It was the 2023 recipient of the Classic Car Club of America's Zenith Award (their highest honor), and recently featured on the cover of Crankshaft Magazine. It was designed by Sir William Lyons, recipient of the 1992 EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement Award.
