Patti,

As we continue to bask in the joy of the 2024 Art & Science of Health Promotion Conference, we want to share some big news!

I am delighted to announce that Dr. Jessica Grossmeier is the incoming Chair for the 2025 Art & Science of Health Promotion Conference.

In this capacity, she will be responsible for identifying the theme for the conference, as well as serving as Master of Ceremonies. As I passed the baton, Jessica pledged to ensure that the Art & Science of Health Promotion Conference upholds its longstanding commitment to:

  • being grounded in science
  • narrowing the gap between research and practice
  • preserving, maintaining enhancing and weaving fun into the best traditions and rituals of this event for the scientists and practitioners in our community of practice
  • driving innovation by inspiring us to look forward in our efforts to optimize health and well-being and
  • fostering meaningful connections across generations of leaders in health promotion.

Jessica is one of the most thoughtful, insightful, intelligent, and purpose-driven leaders in our field. We are all looking forward to the unique vision she will use to guide to the Art and Science of Health Promotion Conference and to the care and attention she will bring to bear to create a memorable and enriching experience for attendees.
