The FFA and Diversity in Fund Finance are delighted to announce the 2022 FFA DEI Emerging Leaders. The 2022 recipients were judged on their overall contributions to furthering diversity, equity, and inclusion (“DEI”) efforts in the fund finance market, their workplace, and/or the broader community.

Fiona and Robin are actively paving a way for a better future for those entering the workforce behind them. We would like to take this opportunity to say keep up the good work, our industry is better because you are in it!

Fiona embodies our pillars of the Diversity in Fund Finance initiative. Fiona is co-chair of the Asian Pacific American (APA) Attorney Affinity Network at Cadwalader, which aims to create an open forum for diverse attorneys within the firm, as well as assists with recruiting efforts of diverse recruits, to build openness, celebrate cultural traditions, and create connections with others both in and outside of the firm. 

Additionally, she is a member of the Women’s Leadership Initiative which hosts an annual Girls in Finance event where attorneys engage with and teach girls about finance while allowing them to gain familiarity with the firm and the legal industry.

Robin is an advocate of the position that diversity can only be achieved when all voices are included. Robin was selected as a 2020 recipient of the Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinder Program, designed to prepare diverse young lawyers for leadership roles in the profession.

Robin is Co-Chair of the African-American Attorneys Inclusion Network as well as Co-Chair of the Haynes and Boone Project Unity Committee. Robin is also heavily involved in the firm’s recruiting efforts and has participated in several diversity panels and recruiting events.
