and America’s Place in the World
In Partnership with Pew Research Center

Thursday, March 18 | Live Online
2:00 - 3:00 PM ET
Join the World Affairs Councils of America and Pew Research Center for a look at American public opinion about China and what America’s foreign policy priorities should be under the Biden administration.

Dr. Richard Wike and Dr. Laura Silver of Pew Research Center will explore new polling on views about U.S. policy toward China in light of ongoing trade, diplomatic, and human rights issues. This interactive session will also examine new findings on the American public’s confidence in President Biden to handle world affairs and what foreign policy issues they think should be top priorities for the nation’s new leadership. The session will include online polling of attendees on these and other questions.

This event comes to you on a critical date as Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan prepare to meet on March 18 in Anchorage, Alaska with People’s Republic of China (PRC) Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs Yang Jiechi and State Councilor Wang Yi
