Music@Menlo is delighted to announce the return of Prelude Performances and Koret Young Performers Concerts to the festival. Prelude Performances showcase the incredible talent of the International Program artists (ages 20-30), while Koret Young Performers Concerts feature the extraordinary Young Performers (ages 12-19) of Music@Menlo's Chamber Music Institute.

These events are both the ideal pre-concert listening experience, and a great way to introduce younger concert-goers to chamber music. Prelude Performances are shorter, typically without an intermission, and KYPCs showcase select movements from chamber music masterworks. These performances are free and open to the public; tickets are required and can be reserved from 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event.

The Festival Campus: Menlo School
Menlo School is one of the nation’s leading independent college-preparatory schools and has been the home of Music@Menlo since its inaugural season in 2003. Menlo School’s commitment to learning, and its welcoming atmosphere and beautiful grounds, make it the ideal environment for audiences, Institute students, and festival artists to share ideas and realize Music@Menlo’s educational mission.

The school’s classrooms offer the perfect setting for rehearsals and coachings, while the Martin and Stent Family Halls are wonderful venues for music as well as for Café Conversations, master classes, and other educational programs. The addition of the Spieker Center for the Arts in 2020 has allowed Music@Menlo to present all festival events on the Menlo School campus for the first time, and benefit from the hall’s meticulous acoustic design and state-of-the-art recording and technical facilities.
