OPENING OUR DOORS

MONDAY, OCTOBER 14TH!

Join us Monday, October 14th, 2024 from 10:00am to 4:00pm for the 23rd Annual FREE art + cultural festival Opening Our Doors. Visit locations throughout the Fenway Cultural District for art exhibitions and activities, cultural experiences, musical and dance performances, and more. Free entry to MFA, Boston; the Gardner Museum; MassArt Art Museum (MAAM); and the Christian Science Publishing House.

Kick-off Ceremony is on the Christian Science Plaza and will feature the Boston Children’s Chorus, Handel + Haydn Society Youth Choir, a Children's Parade with Hot Tamale Brass Band, and guest speakers.

New this year: We are thrilled to announce Opening Our Doors’ newest performing partner, the Handel + Haydn Society, and a new teen stage at the Huntington Avenue YMCA curated by some of its very own Teen Leaders!

Co. 6: Teen Community Engagement Council invites you to join them at the Huntington Avenue YMCA's United Worlds stage from 12AM - 4PM and immerse yourself in cultural experiences as they present a global stage filled with live dance and performances. Experience a day of art, music, and history in a vibrant and welcoming environment.

The Fenway Alliance is proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council's Card to Culture program in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health's WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of organizations by making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier.
