We are thrilled to announce that early spring classes are available in our newly-expanded Venice Island Store! Our Holiday Charcuterie classes sold out so quickly that we will be bringing them back- this time with a fun Springtime twist. We will be offering both beginning and advanced tasting classes for our Northern Hemisphere EVOO's along with special nights focusing on the olive oils and flavors of Portugal and Spain and also Tunisia and Greece. We will be bringing our amazing balsamic vinegars in to join the party with a deliciously, decadent Valentine's Pairing Dinner and Salty Kisses Tropical Pairing Dinner. Springtime Charcuterie
Dates: Tuesday, February 1st, 6:00 pm and Tuesday, February 8th, 6:00 pm - Cost $50.00 per person

Let us show you how to set up a beautiful Charcuterie board for your spring parties. Perfect for taking to concerts in the park and snacking while enjoying our spectacular beach sunsets. Will feature our delicious jams and mustards and clever seasonal garnishes. Do lots of tasting and learn how to make a perfect salami rose.
Includes Wine and non-alcoholic beverages.

Northern Hemisphere Olive Oil Tasting Classes-Beginner
Dates: Friday, February 18th, 6:00 pm and Tuesday, February 22th 6:00 pm - Cost $10.00 per person

Join us and our on-staff Certified Olive Oil Sommelier for a curated tasting of our New Harvest Ultra-Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oils from Europe, North Africa and California! As you taste the different oils we will discuss how geography, weather and harvesting techniques can affect olive oil flavor and quality. Learn the differences between mild, medium and robust oils and when best to use them. You will also learn the key role Extra Virgin Olive Oil plays in a healthy diet.

Northern Hemisphere Olive Oil Tasting Classes- Advanced
Friday, February 25th, 6:00 pm - Cost $35.00 per person
 
For those who have previously attended our Beginner Northern and Southern Hemisphere Tasting Classes. Join our on-staff Certified Olive Oil Sommelier for a curated tasting of our New Harvest Ultra-Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oils from Europe, North Africa and California! After first tasting the EVOO’s solo, we will retaste them with different foods, focusing on the difference between delicate, medium and robust oils and how to best use them in your kitchen.

Flavors of Portugal and Spain
Dates: Friday March 4th 6:00 pm - Cost: $50.00 per person
 
Join us for an evening celebrating the delicious cuisine of Portugal and Spain. The tasting menu will feature tapas and traditional dishes that showcase our EVOO’s from those two countries along with other regionally friendly flavors like Garlic, Harissa and Fig, Pomegranate and Sherry Vinegars.

Flavors of Tunisia and Greece
Dates: Friday March 11th 6:00 pm - Cost $50.00 per person

Join us for an evening celebrating the delicious cuisine of Tunisia and Greece. The tasting menu will feature meze and traditional dishes that showcase our EVOO's from those two countries along with other regionally friendly flavors like Garlic, Rosemary, Baklouti Chilies, Lemon and Oregano.

Salty Kisses Tropical Pairings
Dates: Tuesday, March 22nd and Friday, March 25th, 6:00 pm - Cost $50.00 per person

Enjoy delicious, Florida-friendly pairings featuring Mango, Coconut and Golden Pineapple Balsamic Vinegars paired with our Blood Orange, Persian Lime, Garlic and Lemon Olive Oils. The tasting menu will include our popular recipes Coconut Lime Avocado Crab Cocktail along with Swordfish with Tangerine Gremolata and other amazing appetizers, salads and desserts.

Class Information:
  • Advance reservations are required for our classes. Reservations may be made in person or by calling the Venice location at 941-483-4200.
  • If you need to cancel, your class fee will be refunded in the form of a gift certificate that can be used in the store or towards future classes.
  • Some menus will include seafood. All courses will be plated individually.
