Winchester Model 1897 Solid Frame Riot Gun

Police Departments usually beat up their guns, especially Riot Guns. You sure don’t find Nice early Riot Guns very often because of their intended use, but this week we have a GORGEOUS SOLID FRAME WINCHESTER 1897 from 1914.

Tennessee Highway Patrol S&W 15-3 .38 Spl Revolver

I am not sure what I would say to the Tennessee Officer that pulled me over with these grips on his revolver, probably just “Good morning sir, was I going too fast?”. All kidding aside, this is a cool Highway Patrol revolver with the S&W letter.

How dumb was Winchester for parting ways with Browning? But wherever there is a loser, there is a winner. In this case, Remington and FN got to profit on the genius of John Browning. Here is one of the many Browning guns that Winchester SHOULD HAVE MADE.

Winchester Model 1910

Speaking of the Winchester & Browning breakup, did you know Remington got the Model 8 and Winchester got their own TC Johnson-designed Self Loading rifles? One of many problems was they couldn’t use a bolt handle because of the Browning Patent. Definitely an inferior rifle to the Model 8, but just as cool, here is the last of the line and the largest caliber, a Nice Model 1910.

Browning Citori Grade I Lightning

Of this 1,000 or so guns we have at auction right now, this one might be the most fun to shoot. A Lighting configuration Citori in .410… it may make the games challenging, but it will sure make them fun!
