Dear Friend of Midas,
The Midas Board of Directors and I are thrilled to announce the selection of Molly Goodman as the new Executive Director of The Midas Collaborative. Since April, Molly has served as the interim Executive Director, and has long been a tireless advocate for the families of MA and matched savings programs. She and members of the Midas Board worked with Massachusetts Senator Jamie Eldridge to obtain a $250,000 award from the Commonwealth in the FY22 budget.
Molly is a positive and energetic leader. Her warmth, collegial style, practical approach to problem-solving, and passion for helping low- to moderate-income people and the nonprofit member organizations who serve them have earned Molly the esteem of our volunteers, staff, board, and donors.
Molly has dedicated her career to supporting homeownership for low- and moderate-income residents of MA. In addition to serving as the Manager of Counseling and Homeownership for Allston-Brighton Community Development Corporation, she was a graduate fellow with the Brookline Housing Authority, and a founding board member and clerk of Abundant Housing of MA , as well as a member of the Midas Collaborative Board of Directors for more than two years.
Molly’s career in public service began in 2014 as a Foreclosure Prevention Associate with Urban Edge, a program of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Community-Based Home Corps. Molly received her JD from Suffolk University Law School, where she also served as a research assistant to Professor Kathleen Engel for three semesters. She is a current member in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar and a graduate of Boston Latin School and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she earned a BA in history and legal studies.
Molly will transition into her official role on July 26. The Midas board is excited to work with her as our new executive director – we are confident that the organization will be well-positioned to thrive under her leadership in the years to come.
