CPOD exists to help police officers fight against the continuing “War on Cops” by taking a varied political stance against politicians, activist judges, prosecutors, district attorneys and a host of others who try to bring police officers down by any means.
CPOD has invested in The Virginia Project to support our efforts in fighting anti-American activity, including the subversion of American and Constitutional principles, undermining of law and order, the growth of organized Antifa and BLM crime, as well as corrupt public officials. Virginia Project is proud to work with COPD to ensure a safer, saner, freer Commonwealth for all Virginians, and the police officers that protect us.
CPOD President Jim Fotis said of the partnership, “The Committee for Police Officers’ Defense believes that now is the time to fight the myriad new prejudices created by progressive and woke prosecutors, judges, educators, and radical terrorist groups like BLM and Antifa. These lies include that defunding the police will prevent crime, and that state-sanctioned racism in the form of reparations and critical race theory is justice. CPOD knows that doing away with bail for crimes like rape, assault on police officers, and child pornography shows the absolute ignorance of a world run by elitist spoiled, radical, supposed intellectuals. For these reasons, CPOD supports The Virginia Project as they take on corruption in Virginia. We will continue to fight together to bring sanity back to Virginia politics, and the preservation of the American Dream!”
The Virginia Project Director David Gordon said of the partnership, "The Virginia Project is grateful to receive the support of CPOD for our efforts to put an end to Virginia Democrats' reckless and irresponsible approach to law and order - an approach that puts officers and citizens alike at grave risk. Together we will put a majority in the legislature that will take public safety seriously, as would any responsible adult with common sense and a sense of duty to his countrymen. A huge thanks is owed to Jim Fotis and CPOD, and to all the officers who are holding on through these turbulent times."
The Virginia Project will continue to fight, alongside The Committee for Police Officers’ Defense, to bring sanity, freedom, and peace back to Virginia.
