Dear Elisabeth Morrow School Community,
It is with immense excitement that we unveil The Elisabeth Morrow School’s new strategic plan — a reflection of our shared values, strengths, and commitment to continuous growth. Grounded in mission and enriched by the collective wisdom of our community, it charts a purposeful and inspiring course as we approach our centennial.
To inform our planning, we invited voices from across our community — students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees, and friends — to share their hopes and insights through focus groups, individual conversations, a community survey, and a powerful Visioning Day event on our campus. This plan would not have been possible without the dedication, insight, and time of all who contributed, especially our Strategic Planning Committee. We are deeply grateful for the leadership and collaborative spirit of this incredible team, who helped move our work over the finish line, keeping the best interests of our school at heart.
We’d also like to extend a special note of thanks to Hanita Walia, our chief strategy and advancement officer, who supported us as the point person throughout this crucial process. Her tireless efforts and strategic guidance were instrumental in developing this collaborative vision for EMS.
Our strategic plan is structured around four pillars: Academic Programs, Signature Programs, Community Engagement, and Sustainable Growth. Each pillar outlines specific goals and initiatives that will drive our work for the coming years. We look forward to kicking off some of the work this summer and will provide an update in the fall.
We encourage you to visit our strategic plan website, where you’ll find the goals and guiding principles that will shape the next chapter of our school’s story.
