ROSA 2025-2029 Strategic Plan

Dear ROSA Partners,

We are thrilled to share the Responsible Offshore Science Alliance’s (ROSA) newly-approved 2025-2029 Strategic Plan! This forward-looking document outlines our vision and priorities for advancing science and collaboration at the intersection of offshore wind development and fisheries sustainability over the next five years.

The Strategic Plan is the culmination of extensive input from our diverse stakeholders, including fishermen, offshore wind developers, scientists, and regulators. It reflects our shared commitment to:

  • Enhancing ecosystem understanding: Advancing research on how offshore wind affects fisheries and marine ecosystems.
  • Promoting collaborative science: Building partnerships to drive innovative and applied research.
  • Informing management and decision-making: Delivering science-based insights to support sustainable fisheries and offshore wind co-existence.
  • Fostering stakeholder engagement: Ensuring inclusivity, transparency, and knowledge-sharing across all sectors.

The plan underscores our dedication to fostering a balanced approach where renewable energy development and marine resource stewardship go hand-in-hand.

We invite you to explore the 2025-2029 Strategic Plan and join us in this important journey. Together, we can continue to ensure that offshore wind and fisheries co-develop in a way that benefits both communities and the environment.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss collaboration opportunities, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at info@rosascience.org.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to working with you in shaping the future of sustainable offshore wind and fisheries science.

Warm regards,
