Earlier this year, in partnership with Ramsey County and the Minneapolis Regional Chamber, we were thrilled to receive a Drive for 5 grant from DEED. This grant is powering our vision for a regional talent development initiative—and today, we are proud to unveil the result of those efforts: Twin Cities Talent Hub.

We’re thrilled to partner with you as we build a stronger, more inclusive workforce for the Twin Cities.

CALL2ACTION: Mayor Frey vetoed the Minneapolis Labor Standards Board two weeks ago, citing many of the concerns the business community has been raising. He acknowledged the board is heavily weighted against the business community and that decisions about staffing, wages, benefits, and trainings will be taken away from employers. Your voice is needed as the Minneapolis City Council votes this Thursday, December 5, to override the Mayor’s veto. We invite you to contact Councilmember Osman and sign on to a petition for Councilmember Jenkins to let them know you oppose the Labor Standards Board. This holiday season, the Minnesota State Fair’s Community Gives Together program is hosting a drive to collect items for “Mindfulness Kits” in support of FamilyWise. Kits will be given to families going through stressful situations and provide an opportunity for self-care as they participate in FamilyWise programs. LEARN MORE
