WINTER 2018
Earlier this month, Bath Community Fund awarded grants totaling $19,800 to 10 local nonprofit organizations, bringing our cumulative grantmaking total to nearly $50,000 since BCF was established less than five years ago. A new restroom at Bath Community Park and a running program for local girls are among the projects that were funded this year.
In our third year of awarding grants, Bath Community Fund received 15 funding requests totaling nearly $53,000 from deserving nonprofits (almost triple the amount we had available to grant!). By helping us grow the endowment, you can ensure that so many more of those pressing needs will be met for current
and future generations of Bath residents. To date, we've raised nearly $760,000 toward our goal of $2.018 million through the gifts of local families and organizations.
Bath Community Fund recently welcomed another talented community leader to our advisory board. Scott Siddall is a Revere graduate and the founder of two software service companies. During his career, he held leadership roles in the fields of marine science and higher education technology.
This Thanksgiving, Bath Community Fund was honored to receive several notes of gratitude from our grant recipients. Read how your gifts are making a difference at Hale Farm & Village, Victory Gallop, Girls on the Run Northeast Ohio, and more.
As the holidays approach, a gift to Bath Community Fund is the perfect way to honor a friend, family member or colleague while making a lasting difference in the community. You can also recognize a special woman in your life by donating to our 200 Years - 200 Women campaign in her name. Each person you honor will receive a card letting them know of your gift. Thank you for your generosity!
