We are pleased to announce the date and location for the debut of our latest collection, The Shape of Water , in Water Mill on Saturday, August 17th. The exhibition is an exploration into the different forms that water takes on while passing through rivers, lakes, oceans and cities. Detailed invitations will be sent out soon so please save the date and join us to meet Cuco and see his latest work in person.
Reflecting on "Reflections"
Our US debut collection entitled Reflections received a wonderful reception and we are so grateful to those of you that were able to join us during our two shows in New York. We hope you enjoyed meeting Cuco and experiencing this unique collection as much as we enjoyed sharing it with you.

Many of the pieces found their way into private collections but we still have a limited number of each available for purchase. Please contact me if you would like more information or to schedule a private viewing.

Behind the Scenes With Cuco
A native of Spain, Cuco took his first exhibited photograph of a sunrise in his childhood hometown of La Linea over 25 years ago. Since then, he has traveled the globe, capturing his unique perspective of the people, landscapes and architecture he encounters with his lens.

So where in the world is his favorite place to photograph? Tough question and one that he is not easily able to answer. "I can't think of one place. I enjoy being outside, taking in sunsets and exploring the beauty of my beloved Spain but my experiences in foreign lands is what has transformed me as a photographer. Being exposed to opposite corners of the world and all it's different, yet similar, elements is what I try to capture in my photographs."
What makes Cuco's photography so unique?

Cuco's photographs play on the observer's initial interpretation of the image they are viewing. Often times, when they discover what the image is actually of, there is an element of surprise and expressions of "WOW!"

So how does he do this? In Cuco's own words, "I capture views within views."

His ability to capture an extraordinary moment within what can seem down right ordinary is at the core of the unique experiences viewers have of his photographs. In Paths to the Top (pictured here), Cuco captures the Empire State Building through it's reflection on a rain soaked 5th Avenue. The cross walk and bicycle lane lines bring an artistic element and symbolism to the image of this iconic New York building.
Don't forget to keep an eye out in your inbox over the coming days for the formal invitation to our upcoming exhibition in the Hamptons. Looking forward to seeing you on August 17th!

Sincerely,
