Live Gala changing to Virtual Gala

Given the swift rise in confirmed cases within Massachusetts, the guidelines by the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control in regards to avoiding large crowds and events, and out of an abundance of concern for the health of our community, we have made the decision to move our live Boots & Blooms Gala to your computer as a virtual gala.

We are working to create this virtual gala that will include an exciting online auction. More details will be available in the coming days.

Program changes made

Beverly Bootstraps has been continuing to monitor the constantly changing health concerns regarding COVID-19. Earlier today we made the decision to implement some changes to our programs that will adhere to the National recommendations being put forward at this time. We remain dedicated to providing a safe environment for our Beverly Bootstraps community and will continue to monitor and make adjustments as needed.

Low income individuals and families may be particularly in need during these challenging times. Our Food Pantry, through our partnership with the Greater Boston Food Bank, is currently well stocked in staple items. Mrs. A's kids give back
Mrs. Alexander's School  donated over 100 pounds of food to our Food Pantry during the month of February. We love it when kids learn about giving back and helping others so young! Great job kids - keep it up!

People's United Bank donate snack bags
Thank you to People's United Bank who recently donated 50 snack bags for the Food Pantry to give out to local families with children, who have a hard time keeping enough food in the house on budgets that are already strained.

Change makes change
Super Sub Shop/Casual Catering, Inc .  still has our change collection bucket on their counter even after our Donate Change to Make Change campaign ended in September. Congrats to Super Subs on their 50th anniversary and thank you for being such a long-time partner with us!
