2019 Grant Application Calendar
We are pleased to share information about the Foundation for MetroWest’s 2019 Discretionary Grant Programs . We hope that by providing the dates for all programs throughout the calendar year, you will be able to plan for any submissions and connect with us regarding your eligibility in advance of the deadlines. We look forward to working with many of you throughout the year and considering your priority initiatives for funding as you work to strengthen the MetroWest region.

Alleviating Hunger and Homelessness:
2019 Small Capital Grant Program
Foundation for MetroWest (FFMW) is now accepting applications for the Alleviating Hunger and Homelessness Grant Program, a one-time small capital grant opportunity for nonprofits addressing hunger, homelessness, and/or homelessness prevention in our region. This program has been made possible by a generous anonymous donor who recognizes the importance of investing in the capital needs of organizations providing these basic and emergency support to our neighbors in need.

2019 MetroWest Hunger Relief Grant Program
Our mission for the MetroWest Hunger Relief Fund is to invest in local organizations that work across the food system to eliminate hunger and provide food security to all MetroWest residents. We award grants annually to nonprofits and town agencies to provide immediate aid to residents in MetroWest.

2019 Discretionary Grant Program
Each year, the Foundation for MetroWest awards discretionary grants in the following focus areas: Arts & Culture, Environment, and Family Support. The Foundation believes that equitable access to opportunities and resources and protection of our region’s natural resources are central to a strong and healthy region. These one-year grants range in size from $1,000 to $10,000.

2019-2020 Youth Development Grant Program*
Through its Youth Development Grant Program, Foundation for MetroWest awards discretionary grants that align with our vision to improve the lives of children, teens, and young adults in our region.

*This grant program is by invitation only; organizations are assigned either a fall 2019 or spring 2020 grant cycle review. Grants of up to $5,000 are awarded. 
Fall 2019 Cycle:

Applications due October 4
Spring 2020 Cycle:
Application opens December 9
Applications due February 14
