We would also like to take a moment to give special recognition to Halisi Wolf for her Leadership Self-Advocacy and Viry Martino for her remarkable Leadership Transformation.

We are proud to congratulate and celebrate our phenomenal cohort. Each and every one of them put in the challenging and fulfilling work of personal and professional development. Through this, they showed incredible commitment to growing as humans and leaders. We could not imagine spending this 2023 Spring with a different group of fellows!

“It is truly an honor to have been selected as the Courage in Leadership Award recipient by the amazing Multicultural Women Executive Leadership Program (MWELP) leadership team. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn from such an accomplished group of multicultural women leaders who embody all the very best qualities that a leader can have, including brilliance, perseverance, and compassion. The opportunity to participate in the MWELP came at just the right time in my career. Within the next few weeks, I will embark on a new leadership journey with more demanding responsibilities, a new title, and a larger team of direct reports. MWELP has given me the perfect forum to analyze my leadership style at this pivotal time. The program has encouraged me to carefully consider the approaches that I will use to motivate and inspire the team I will be leading. It has helped me develop new skillsets and new levels of self-awareness that have made me not just a better professional, but also a better person. Receiving the Dr. Yasmin Davidds Courage in Leadership Award is such a meaningful conclusion to an amazing journey within the Multicultural Women Executive Leadership Program!”
