We are thrilled to announce the 2024 honorees of the Saint Francis Reception, which raises funds in support of Catholic Charities' Emergency Food Services.


The Saint Francis Service Award recognizes members of the restructuring community who, regardless of creed, have demonstrated a standard of integrity, humility, and charity that warrants the acclaim of their peers.

Heather Lennox helps boards of directors and management teams navigate crises and distress to develop successful solutions for the enterprise and its stakeholders. She has led some of the country's largest corporate and municipal restructurings (including workouts and reorganizations), whether driven by operational, financial, litigation, mass tort, or regulatory challenges. Her clients hail from every industry, both domestically and internationally.


Heather provides strategic, business-oriented advice to entities facing financial distress and has in-depth experience in convening and directing global legal, business, financial, and media/communications teams in collaborative efforts to achieve clients' goals. She has been named a "Dealmaker of the Year" by The American Lawyer and recognized as one of the nation's leading lawyers by legal directories; she also has earned top rankings for many years running in Chambers, Best Lawyers in America, IFLR1000, and Lawdragon 500 Leading Global Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyers. In 2020, Heather was named to Cleveland Magazine's "Cleveland 500" list.

Heather is a frequent speaker, publisher, and guest lecturer. She is a Conferee of the National Bankruptcy Conference, a Fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy, and a member of other crisis- and restructuring-related organizations. She actively serves on several community and educational boards.

For more than 35 years, Frank Oswald has focused his practice exclusively on bankruptcy, out-of-court restructurings, and creditors' rights matters. Mr. Oswald has represented clients in all facets of bankruptcy cases as well as insolvency issues in business transactions. 


Mr. Oswald is a partner at Togut, Segal & Segal LLP, which he joined in 1986 following internships with the late Hon. Conrad B. Duberstein, Chief Bankruptcy Judge, and the Hon. Cecilia Goetz, Bankruptcy Judge (retired) in the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. Since then, Mr. Oswald has represented chapter 11 debtors, bankruptcy trustees, creditors' committees, secured and unsecured creditors, shareholders, distressed investors, defendants in avoidance actions, mediators, plan administrators, as well as landlords and tenants in bankruptcy cases, and entities seeking to acquire assets out of bankruptcy.


Mr. Oswald is a member of the EDNY's Bankruptcy Judges' Chapter 11 Lawyers Advisory Committee, the Board of the Turnaround Management Association (NY Chapter), a member of the ABI's Committee on Healthcare Law, and a recognized lawyer in Chambers USA and Best Lawyers in America. He is also a member of the Executive Board of TMA New York chapter and has been named a New York Super Lawyer every year since 2010.


Mr. Oswald is a Board Member of Elizabeth Seton Children’s, Chairman of the Board of Elizabeth Seton Children’s Foundation, member of the Executive Board and Treasurer of the Jewish Community Center of Staten Island, and a member of the Foundation Board for the Richmond County University Hospital.



Frank has been married to his wife Dina for 37 years. They have two sons, Frank, Jr. and Dean, who are attorneys in New York City.
