Now, for the sixth year, we are pleased to once again bring a renown landscape architecture voice to this jury -- an esteemed voice from outside of the chapter.

Pamela Conrad is an internationally recognized landscape architect, with a deeply rooted passion for the environment – from growing up on a farm in the mid-western United States to studying plant science and regenerative landscape architecture. Her 20-year career has focused on implementing carbon sequestering nature-based solutions in the built environment ranging from large scale habitat restoration to urban waterfront adaptation. She has been featured in the New York Times, Forbes, Bloomberg, TIME Magazine for Kids, Build Beyond Zero: New Ideas for Carbon-Smart Architecture, and has represented the profession at UN COP27 and COP28 Climate Conferences. A former principal at CMG Landscape Architecture in San Francisco, Pamela was the inaugural ASLA Biodiversity and Climate Action Fellow, an Architecture 2030 Senior Fellow, and a 2023 Harvard GSD Loeb Fellow.

We are also pleased to continue another of our traditions: inviting the top winner of last year's BSLA Design Award for Student Work to this jury. Please join us in offering a special hello to Molly Youjing Zhang (Harvard GSD '26), last year's Excellence Award winner for student projects.

Our entire jury brings a wealth of excellence, experience, and expertise in a range of practice types and approaches, from all corners of our Awards area: Amherst to Portland; New Hampshire to Cape Cod to Cambridge. Together, this jury creates a unique and extraordinary cross section of landscape architecture practice in our region today.
