This month MCC Tampa is celebrating its 51st anniversary! Throughout the month of August, our worship services will focus on the theme of joy! I invite you to consider how MCC Tampa has brought joy into your life. If you have a story you’d like to share, please respond to this email and let me know! If you’d like others to hear your story, we can feature your response in the newsletter, on social media, or even in a worship service this month!
The global pandemic put our big 50th anniversary celebratory plans on hold last year, but it can’t stop our joy! I am excited to tell you about the much-awaited anniversary extravaganza that is now in the planning stages, coming 12 months from now, in August 2023!
Join us next August for: 52 is the new 50! MCC Tampa’s Half-A-Century (plus two years) Extravaganza! Now is the time to start planning for our much-anticipated celebration. If you would like to be involved with the planning of this extravaganza, please let us know!
On a personal note, I currently have Covid-19. I am at home and quarantined with my family. We are all doing okay, and those of us in the household with Covid are resting and getting well. I am striving to respond to all emails, texts, calls, and pastoral needs in a timely manner and I appreciate your patience and grace as I allow my body time to heal.
