Save the Dates and Plan to Join us for CCIH 2022
Submit an Abstract to Present by January 31, 2022
CCIH will hold a virtual annual conference in 2022, and we want you to be a part of the conversation. While we would love to meet in person, our global reality is that travel to the US is still a challenge for many. Based on the last two years, hundreds more people from many countries will participate in a remote meeting than would otherwise be able to join us.

The conference will consist of six sessions over three weeks: June 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, and 23 from 8 am-11am EDT each day.

We seek participants who bring information, ideas, and views that are global, and practical, and will stimulate discussion. We anticipate a mixture of interviews, video recorded messages, and traditional presentations and panels.

Please plan to join us! If you have ideas for a presentation you would like to share, please fill out the Abstract Submission Form by January 31, 2022. Learn more about our conference theme below.
Loving Our Neighbor:
A Christian Response to a Changing World
The world faces many challenges and new opportunities today: the COVID-19 pandemic and the potential for other emerging pandemics; regional conflict and violence; forced migration and displacement; climate change that undermines health; and a growing mental health crisis are just a few examples of the struggles we face. We also see new opportunities coming from changes in health financing, technology, and workforce initiatives. There is a profound new level of desire to engage faith communities as allies in health.

Anticipating change requires us to start from a place of love - love for Christ and for neighbor. We must also strive for high-quality, sustainable solutions in our response. With this in mind we developed the following 6 themes for the 6 conference sessions:

1. Loving Our Neighbor: A Christian Response to a Changing World
2. The Long Race: Increasing Effective Leadership and Governance While Preventing Burnout
3. Learning to Love Our Neighbors: Lessons from Community-Based Initiatives
4. Strengthening Health Systems for Resilience in Times of Change
5. Localization of Health: What is Necessary to Ensure Healing and Sustainability?
6. Quality of Care: Improving Services for the Whole Person in Times of Change

If you plan to present, please keep these themes in mind as you develop your abstract and let us know which theme it relates to.
Our Guiding Verse

Serving the Lord means loving and caring for our neighbors, both far and near. In this spirit, we chose the following guiding verse for the 2022 Conference: "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord." (Romans 12:10-11)
Submissions received by January 31, 2022 will be given first preference. All submissions after that date will be reviewed on a rolling basis, pending availability.
