ChiArts is thrilled to publicly announce the launch of the ChiArts Foundation, The Chicago High School for the Arts’ new arts fundraising partner. The Foundation will ensure the lasting legacy of the five arts conservatories, community partnerships and programming, and will provide professional development support for alumni and current students. ChiArts Founding Executive Director, José Ochoa, leads ChiArts Foundation as its first President.
As the Foundation officially became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in January 2021, we are honored to also announce a generous $1 million gift from ChiArts founders, board members, philanthropists, and entrepreneurs Jim and Kay Mabie. Read more...
