Earth Day Summit 2020

Earth Day 2020 will mark the 50 th anniversary of the annual celebration of nature and the challenges we face in protecting global ecosystems. In acknowledgement of this seminal year, the Arizona Sustainability Alliance , Arizona State University , the Central Arizona Conservation Alliance , and the City of Phoenix are planning an Earth Day Summit on
April 17 th , 2020

The themes we will explore at the summit are:
Food
Energy
Environmental Legislation
Conservation and Open Spaces
Urban Forestry
Waste and Recycling
Education and Outreach
Water
Business/CSR
Each of these themes would have their own track during the Earth Day Summit and would have a single room devoted to workshops and talks.

In order to organize this, we are reaching out to you for applications for organizations that would be interested in serving as in-kind sponsors as Track Leaders!

Track Leaders will be responsible for (1) finding presenters to fill their track’s schedule from a variety of organizations, (2) vetting potential presenters, and (3) managing the equipment and presenters for their track on the day of the Summit.
Join us to bring together sustainability professionals from different focal backgrounds & provide the foundation for workshops, presentations and networking among our community members!
In exchange for this service, we will list your organization as a sponsor of the Earth Day Summit, provide two free registrations to members of your organization, along with volunteer badges for any members of your organization that will be helping with day-of organization and facilitation.

If you are interested in partnering with us in and getting involved with the Earth Day Summit, please fill out the Google Form below with your selected track, information on your organization’s expertise in said track, and any past experience assisting in event planning. Deadline for track leaders is October 18, 2019.
We hope to see you all on April 17, 2020 for the
Earth Day Summit!
