Announcing the Mosaic Oregon Adventure
Sunday, June 15 - Friday, June 20, 2014

Join us for a week-long Portland-based hiking trip. Each day we will explore the beautiful landscapes that make up this part of Oregon. Food on the trip will be Kosher, with full accommodation of all additional dietary needs.

Trip Highlights Include:

- Mount Hood wilderness
- Columbia River Gorge
- Multnomah Falls
- Forest Park
- Ecola State Park
- Cannon Beach
- Lost Lake
- Free time to explore Portland and shop (no sales tax!)

Participants will arrive Sunday afternoon. We will settle in, have an orientation, introductions and dine together at the Northwest Portland Youth Hostel.

On Monday through Thursday we will make a bag lunch in the morning and then venture out using our rental cars to explore (hike) Oregon for the day. Each evening you will have the option to participate in a "Night Out" activity, including Square Dancing, a group bicycle tour of some of Portland's best microbreweries, and taking in Portland's vibrant live music scene.

Optional -- Extend your trip by spending Shabbat with the local community!  The official trip ends Friday morning, but you may choose to stay with a host family in Portland's welcoming modern Orthodox community Friday night. For those who choose to stay we will have a Shabbat dinner together Friday night, lunch Saturday with a host family, and a variety of services available for those who wish to go to shul.

Register early!  The early-bird registration fee of $350 (members), $375 (non-members) expires on May 15.  After that date, registration increases to $400 (members), $425 (non-members).

Looking forward to seeing you in Oregon!

Sincerely,

Miriam Lambert
