Priority Dispatch® and the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch® have released AQUA® v7.1.0.5 (2/17/2021), which includes updates to make your case review more efficient and effective. A few key changes:
Updated Documents:
- The Diagnostic/DE document now shows the new Advanced Compressions Monitor Tool.
- New document displays all the verbiage on the Advanced Compressions Monitor Tool, which is evaluated in the new PAI table.
- New IAED Statement added on the new Standard for reviewing the Advanced Compressions Monitor Tool.
- EIDS (COVID-19) Tool document updated due to questions about the EIDS Tool and Urgent Message option in ProQA Admin.
Deviation Changes for ECNS users only:
- Caller Name is now a MODERATE deviation for both Not Given and Given Incorrectly.
- Patient Name/Address/Phone is now a MAJOR deviation for Given Incorrectly.
- Medical History is now a MAJOR deviation for both Not Given and Given Incorrectly.
Advanced Compressions Monitor Tool:
- Added new table under PAI table to account for the PAIs now found in the Advanced Compressions Monitor Tool. These will all default to N/A.
- Calculation in the PAIs adjusts to accommodate both PAI tables.
EPD Users Only
- The ability for an agency to choose if EPD PDIs default to 6=Obvious or 5=N/A has been added.
