Lexington, Ky. --- July 18, 2017 ----  The United States Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to announce the Show Jumping athletes participating in the USHJA North American Children's, Junior and Young Riders' Show Jumping Championships during the 2017 Adequan/FEI North American Children's, Junior and Young Rider Championships, presented by Gotham North, July 18-23 at HITS in Saugerties, New York.

A team of experienced chefs d'equipe will be leading teams at the Championships including Ralph Caristo (Zone 2), Cindy Cruciotti (Zone 8), Sally Hudson (Zone 10), Quentin Judge (Zone 5), Kim Land (Zone 4), Kelly McCabe-Cyphert (Zone 7), Gregory Prince (Zone 1) and Sandra Ruiz (Zone 3).

The Adequan/FEI North American Children's, Junior & Young Rider Championships, presented by Gotham North, includes championships for Dressage, Para Dressage and Show Jumping athletes in Saugerties, as well as Championships for Eventing athletes the same week at Rebecca Farm in Montana.

During the Championships in Saugerties, Show Jumping athletes from the United States, Canada and Mexico will participate in a Nations Cup-style competition that features both team and individual finals.

The Championships will kick off for Show Jumping athletes on Wednesday, July 19, with the jog and training sessions for all competitors. On Thursday, July 20, competitors will participate in the  First Individual Qualifier.

The team competition will begin on Friday, July 21, for Children's, Junior Riders and Young Riders, respectively.

Riders who will not be moving on to the Individual Finals will be able to participate in the Farewell Competition on Saturday, July 22. On Sunday, July 23, the Individual Finals will be held for Children's, Junior Riders and Young Riders, respectively.
