Taos Ski Valley is proud to announce its new Community Pledge, a commitment to fostering a sustainable and vibrant future for the Taos community by supporting local youth. As part of this initiative, the resort has introduced the Uplift Youth Fund, which will initially award $100,000 annually to local nonprofits and organizations focused on youth-driven projects. The fund aims to inspire a love for the mountains, respect for the environment, and meaningful opportunities that positively impact the well-being of local youth.
With two funding cycles per year and awards ranging from $2,500 to $10,000, the Uplift Youth Fund is designed to support projects in outdoor equity and youth programming, environmental stewardship, economic and workforce development, and community connection. A Community Advisory Circle (CAC), composed of local voices, will guide funding decisions to ensure they reflect the unique needs of Taos. Applications are now open for organizations in Taos County and Northern New Mexico. Learn more at skitaos.com/community.
