Announcing the Western Legislative Academy Class of 2024!

CSG West congratulates the 53 members accepted to the Western Legislative Academy (WLA) Class of 2024. This year’s class will convene December 10-13 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for an immersive training experience focused on sharpening leadership skills in communications, consensus building, focus management, ethics and more.

Recognized as the premier training event for lawmakers in their initial four years of service, WLA has seen alumni ascend to key leadership roles, including presiding officers, majority and minority leaders, committee and caucus leaders, lieutenant governors, and members of the U.S. Congress.

Border Legislative Conference Registration is Now OPEN

Las Cruces, New Mexico

The Border Legislative Conference (BLC) serves as a binational forum in which legislators can exchange best practices and identify policy solutions addressing the complex issues along the 2,000-mile U.S. – Mexico border region. BLC Chair, New Mexico Senator Bill Soules, is pleased to host this year’s conference with support from the CSG West staff and invites you to join us.

State legislators from the U.S. and Mexico will convene September 19-21 at Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces in Las Cruces, New Mexico to share and learn from one another, as well as from invited speakers
