I am so excited to share my first newsletter with you and to announce the launch of Crazy Simple Wellness. After spending 12+ years in corporate America (almost 10 years as a road warrior), I realized it can be ridiculously challenging to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Without support, busy professionals have little time to implement the most basic nutrition recommendations (have you figured out how to squeeze 4-6 servings of veggies into your day?), let alone create a healthy lifestyle that is realistic and sustainable.

I know from personal experience that maximum health and happiness is achievable even while living our crazy lives. But, there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. Healthy living needs to be customized to your individual health goals and circumstances. This is where Crazy Simple Wellness comes in! I am finally combining years of personal research and practice in healthy living with training as a holistic health coach to help the world become a happier, healthier place - one busy professional at a time! In a nutshell, our focus at Crazy Simple Wellness is to show busy professionals how to make simple, gradual changes so they can look, feel and perform their best everyday without letting deadlines, commuting/travel and long hours steal the best years of their life!

Simply good eats
Nourishing Fruit & Greens Smoothie 
gsmoothieIn a blender, combine the ingredients below until smooth. Make it easy - don't use measuring tools, just eyeball it. Enjoy!
  • 1C unsweetened organic almond, rice or coconut milk
  • 4-6 frozen strawberries, or any other frozen fruit
  • 2 TBS almond butter (try sunbutter for nut allergies)
  • 1 handful of frozen chopped spinach
  • Add 1/4c water for thinner consistency
  • 1 tsp  raw honey for a touch of sweetness and to reduce inflammation
  • 1 TBS  ground flaxseed for more fiber
