Your 2019/20 annual Membership Fee invoice is now available in your Lawyer Portal. Payment is due
March 15, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. MST.
Please log in to your
Lawyer Portal
and select
My Profile
from the drop down menu, followed by
My Account
to view your 2019 annual Membership Fee invoice.
Credit card and Interac payments can be made through the Lawyer Portal only. All other
payment options
can be viewed on our
website
.
Payments must be made out to the Law Society of Alberta.
Firm Administrators can view annual active fee invoices by logging in to the Lawyer Portal and selecting the
Return Sheet
tab from the drop down menu.
In addition to paying your invoice, all active lawyers are required to fill out the Member Information Update which is only available online in your
Lawyer Portal
.
The Member Information Update is now completed on the
Practice Information Update (MIUF)
tab.
You must select
My Profile
from the drop down menu, where you will confirm your
Areas of Practice
,
Languages, Demographics
and
Pro Bono hours
for 2018
.
You must confirm each page and select
Submit
to complete your Practice Information Update. Firm Administrators
cannot complete this on a lawyer's behalf.
If you wish to change your practice status to inactive, please submit a status change
application
along with the inactive membership fee of $231 (inclusive of GST) before the
March 15
deadline.
