The underlying belief embodied by the supporters of United Way of Northern Arizona is that strong communities are built when we come together to learn, share, and act.

We had a chance to do just that recently at the kickoff breakfast for our Annual Campaign to raise $1.2 million.

Donations to the Annual Campaign will help ensure all who live in Coconino, Navajo, and Apache counties can thrive.

If you weren't able to attend, we tried to capture the incredible energy at this event in the blog below. You’ll also find a deeper dive into one of the morning’s most meaningful conversations: a panel discussion on youth mental health.

The insights from our panelists were both enlightening and moving. They reminded us that while resources and programs are vital, the everyday connections we make - as parents, educators, neighbors, and community members - are just as powerful.

Now, I’d love to hear from you. If you could tell other parents one thing you’ve learned about supporting a child’s well-being, what would it be? Tell me here. Your wisdom can inspire and strengthen others who are on the same journey.

Thanks to everyone who attended our annual campaign kickoff and thank you for showing that United is the Way to a better future.

Annual Campaign Begins!

With the theme of "United is the Way," our annual campaign kickoff focused on the needs of our youth, celebrated the upcoming launch of a new teen center, and turned the spotlight on this year's Annual Campaign Chair, Gabe Smith.

Local Experts Weigh in on Youth Mental Health

During our kickoff, a panel of local experts discussed mental well-being for youth - from the scope of the problem to the role each of us can play in being part of the solution and supporting youth mental health.

You can be part of this important work. Donate safely online or, if you are employed by an organization running a United Way campaign, you can also give through your workplace (including through payroll deductions).

Every contribution helps create opportunities for youth, strengthen families, and build a healthier, more resilient community.
